During my life as a Physician Assistant for almost a decade, I have seen how much our illnesses are related to our levels of stress.
For many years I have been studying and learning how to use different strategies to help people achieve high levels of relaxation. One of them is Neuroencoding.
In 2024 I had the privilege to be certified as a Neuroencoding Specialist, you may wonder what that even means! Neuroencoding is the study of the language of the nervous system and how it pertains to how we function as human beings, as well as how to use that information to get the very best out of ourselves.
Through Neuroencoding, we can redirect the way we think, we move and we act and interact in and with the world around us. With the assistance of this incredible methodology, I have created a consulting practice that combines different techniques to provide people with the tools necessary to not only deal with the day to day stress but also to create their own strategies to find a way to relax in extreme stress environments.
To be clear, I do not offer therapy sessions. Consultants and therapists play distinct yet complementary roles in helping individuals achieve personal growth and development. As a consultant, I typically focus on empowering clients to set and achieve specific goals, often in areas like career advancement, personal relationships, or overall life satisfaction. I utilize various tools and techniques to motivate, guide, and challenge my clients to maximize their potential. I operate from a forward-thinking perspective, emphasizing action-oriented strategies to overcome obstacles and create positive change. Unlike therapists, I usually don't delve deeply into past traumas or unresolved psychological issues but instead concentrate on the present and future trajectory of my clients' lives.
Therapists, on the other hand, are trained professionals who specialize in addressing mental health concerns, emotional challenges, and behavioral patterns. They work with clients to explore underlying issues, understand patterns of thinking and behavior, and facilitate healing and personal growth. Therapists employ evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or psychodynamic therapy, to help individuals navigate and overcome psychological obstacles. Therapists are often licensed professionals who can diagnose mental health disorders and provide treatment within a therapeutic framework that may involve deeper exploration of emotions, past experiences, and relational dynamics.
